Nicely Done Atlantic
Ordered a box of Kristoff torpedo's (along with some other goodies) from Atlantic Cigar. Received and e-mail they were on back order, should arrive in a week. They asked if I wanted another size. Told them I did not and they replied they would get them out to me as soon as they arrived.
One week later I received an email that my order was in the mail. Three days later the box arrived, packaged well and in great shape. Superior service and communication. Have ordered from them several times in the past and have always been satisfied. Definitely recommend ordering from them if they have something you like. |

Re: Nicely Done Atlantic
I've never heard of them but on your recommendation alone I'm about to hit their site. Thanks for the heads-up. Everyone *****es about the bad guys and not enough praise is given to the good ones.

Re: Nicely Done Atlantic
Sounds like they want to set up a ACH account for overseas
customers. Like setting up a PeyPal verified account. The vendor deposits a small amount into your account, then you have to log in and verify the amount deposited. You might even be requested to xfer a small amount back to the vendor's account. This assures that the transfer of funds between banks is working properly. I've used Atlantic several times. Never a problem, and very good email support. Chemyst |

Re: Nicely Done Atlantic
Yes, that's how an Automated Clearing House(ACH) xfer between banks is set up.
Once the xfer between banks is set up, when you order from Atlantic they will withdraw the funds for payment from your account. Some vendors have you send the funds for your purchase to them. Apparently Atlantic wants to be able to withdraw funds from your account to cover your purchases. If you're concerned about Atlantic having access to your account, just set up a bank account for cigar purchases only, and keep only enough money in it to cover your cigar purchases.
