Default Albums / CDs

Weird, I am in the process of ripping all our CDs (5K+) into iTunes and discovered something interesting. The only two groups for which we own all albums (in CD format) released at the Eagles and Bare Naked Ladies.

Anyone else here own all the releases for any well-known bands?

Dream Theater. And then a lot of smaller bands from where I just love supporting local music.

I've been in the process of re-ripping all of my CDs at the highest quality that will still go onto an MP3 player. That has meant: riping in FLAC (takes about half an hour) then converting into mp3 V0 VBR via LAME. Woooo!

Zeppelin was the first and greatest. I have bought several of their albums several times, including CDs, vinyl and cassette over the years. I used to really miss the spots on songs where the vinyl would skip after it got replaced.

In keeping with my OCD nature, if I like a band I get it all. Which is why my wife cringed when she found out I was really getting into cigars!

I don't have all of the Rolling Stones physically, But I do think I might have everything if combining them from different medias, CD, Vinyl, tape and HDD.

Also, My collection may be a bit incomplete do to people borrowing and never giving back. Except my Maiden stuff, People know better then to ask to borrow my Maiden stuff. I just will not do it.

Due to some jackass stealing my car 4 years ago I actually have no actual CDs except for the ones I have burned from my itunes. Luckily I had backed up most of them in itunes so I still have good music.

But I did have all he following:

Zeppelin
Pink Floyd
Widespread Panic
Phish
Sublime
David Allen Coe
Waylon Jennings

and he list goes on...that jackass got probably 400 cds and most likely just tossed them

All the albums? Maybe nobody, but aside from some mentioned above, I am "well-represented" in two other artists not yet mentioned - Johnny Winter and Ry Cooder.
