Ron Santo in Hall of Fame
I dunno how I feel about this. He dies, now he's in. Kinda pathetic, if you ask me.

Re: Ron Santo in Hall of Fame
Yeah, if he's good enough to be in, you couldn't have done it while he was still here to acknowledge the selection?
Reminds me of the Jerry Kramer annual snub for the NFL HOF. He can't get in because there's too many from that era in already? WTF?

Nothing like dying to improve your HOF street cred.

Congrats to the Santo family. To all the voters...little to late.

Re: Ron Santo in Hall of Fame
Santo's stats should have had him in while he was alive to appreciate it, they were comparable to most 3rd basemen in the HOF, and superior to many. Damn shame, I hope there's a Heaven, and Ron is having some shots.

Re: Ron Santo in Hall of Fame
It's a shame what these elitist HOF voters do. They rob these men of enjoying an honor they earned simply to create some level of exclusivity. It honestly makes me sick.
