Default Destruction and redo!

I did not think of pictures yesterday but here it goes Mack's paver patio project

Stairs that will be removed today

The summer time smoking deck in the right hand side you can see the tin roof that will cover it.

The toys used in project!

The walk ways leading to the house and garage! All in all there is 500 sq ft of patio to be laid. Pavers will be delivered this afternoon. It is funny the only help I have had offered is my 17yr old daughter everyone else sez I am an a$$ hole to work with!

I'm always doing projects like this. Gotta keep busy, y'know.
What goes in place of the steps? Porch? Deck? Looks perfect for a small screen porch.

There will be a porch then back in the back in the next couple of months a screen area.

I thought winter was over here but I am attending with frozen ground still. More pictures tomorrow. We got the old porch removed and dug down. Found out the previous owner used post create for the porch all of it was full of it not an ounce of dirt or sand under the cinder blocks! when I seen that sludge hammer'd out chunks of it the skid steer I have could not lift it at all.
Hope upon hope Sunday evening will find me kicked back with a cold one and a stogie! On my new patio!

Lot of work done there.
Heck, I hate to pick on you but you could get a diamond blade for your saw and straighten up that one edge. You can just run a water hose in front of the saw as you cut. Take a little off the second to last course so you don't have to re-lay that whole side. I can just hear this old lady I work for saying for me to tear it all up and put it back down straight. Hindsight being what it is, you should have started from the corner of the house.

On second look, it's only three blocks that are short there. That's not that bad.

Ok it's been a day or two but there has been progress and here it is.

New porch. garbage not normally there just lazy teenagers!

New flower garden

The roof over the smoking and sunset viewing area!
All that is left to do is my lighting we have all the conduit ran and a load of gravel to push around. Should finish up in time for graduation of my oldest daughter.
