A similar thread was resurrected at our old home and it got me thinking. Here are a few of mine.
Top 5 5)Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers-UCSB Gym 4)Journey- Santa Cruz Civic-Before Steve Perry 3)The Tube's-Dont Touch Me There Tour-My first concert! 2)Day on the Green Oakland Coliseum-AC/DC(with Bon @10am), Journey, Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, Ted Nugent-Sep 78 1) Bruce-Winterland 1978 Christmas show 2 weeks before the Dead closed Winterland forever. He played until 1:30am and Bill Graham had to shut him down as the Fire Dept was ready to pull the plug. Honorable mention-Lynyrd Skynyrd, Journey and Y & T New Years Eve 1978, Rolling Stone's @ Candlestick Park with JGeils Band and George Thorogood |

Brother Ray was The Man Paul McCartney - ~1991 Tripping the Live Fantastic tour Yes – 2005(?) The old codgers can still wail, even though Steve Howe looks like that guy from Tales of the Crypt Rolling Stones featuring Billy Preston, with the Meters as opening act –1975 Mick slipped on something wet on the stage during the opening number (Honky Tonk Women) and fell on his behunkus… Eagles with opening act Fleetwood Mac –1975 Newcomer Stevie Nicks brought the house down with Rhiannon Sting – 2003 With Branford Marsalis sitting in on a few songs and Annie Lennox as the opening act Too many others to recollect through the fog….
