Torch lighter advise
I'm looking to purchase a torch lighter. Something in the 20-40 dollar range. Is XIKAR a good brand? I was looking at the Element. Also the Blazer BP-207. Any advise is appreciated.

Re: Torch lighter advise
well if you are going to spend $40, just buy 20 of these.
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1455 I have a Xikar executive, Calibrei firebird and a Ronson jetlight and I use this lighter 99% of the time. |

If you're looking for a table-torch, look at the vector with the perdomo logo. They are $30 on cigarsinternational and hold a ton of fuel. Too big to carry in your pocket, but great for around the house.

I bought a $20 triple flame lighter from my local Tinderbox, it has served me well. Dont know the brand, it was some no name deal.
I had a Zippo Blu POS!

I recommend a Blazer, any model. I personally have 2 of the CG-001.
Blazers also carry a LIFETIME warranty! |

Re: Torch lighter advise
I got all sorts of lighters, cheap-mid priced and high priced. For a "pocket model" I most often use one of my dozen or so Ronson Jet Lites, they are the most dependable and under $3 each at some Walmarts. For table top use around the house I use a micro soldering torch most often, works wonderful, lasts a month or so without refilling and just feels good and powerful. Solder It is my favorite http://www.buy.com/prod/solder-it-pt...210438974.html
If you want to look cool, the Alec Bradley table top is top notch! Blazer makes good dependable stuff for sure. |

Re: Torch lighter advise
If you're spending the money get the blazer. Otherwise I'd go with the ronson, and use the rest of the cash for some more sticks!

Re: Torch lighter advise
Spend the $40 on 10 ronsons, and give 8 of them away in bombs.. All you'll ever need is one for use and one as a backup in case the "in use" one runs out of fuel
