Default Tell me about this old (possibly CC) cigar

I know the pictures aren't that great, but any help would be appreciated. I got two of these in some items I bought. The band says La Palina. Underneath that it says The Quality Cigar. On one side of the band it says Congress Cigar Co. On the other it says Makers.

I'm fairly sure it's not Cuban.

La Palina is a Clear Havana.

American made with Cuban Tobacco(pre-embargo) and one of the tastier brands as well.

Why wouldn't you smoke them?

If you really don't want to smoke them, I would think there may be some folks here who are interested.

why not? I've smoked cigars as old as from the 191x's and loved them.

You know... I really don't have an answer to that. I guess I figured someone else would be able to appreciate them more. I'll have to think about it. I may smoke one and send one to somebody. I think I have just the person in mind!!

True that. If I weren't in a selling (rather than buying) mode I'd snap those up.

How many you have?

What's the point of having cigars and looking at them?
At some point looking only does so much for you. Light it up and tell us what you taste.
