Alright, this thread is dedicated to all things heavy. This is general as it can get. This thread isn't confined to just rock and roll either. There's lots of heavy music out there that doesn't even use guitar (think jazz, or perhaps even back to the classical period.)

Well, if we're plunging into metal (which I knew would happen), I do believe it's time to throw out the band that defines heavy. You'll be hearing a lot from these guys in this thread as long as I'm around.

Damn throwdown sounds like Pantera. In a way thats a good thing, but I swear you take the visual off and tell somone its unreleased Pantera and they might buy it.
