Tatuaje Frank Jr
Review # 104 Cigar Reviewed: Tatuaje Frank Jr. Country of Origin: Nicaragua Factory: My Father Cigars S.A. Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf Binder: Nicaragua Filler: Nicaragua Size: 5 5/8 Inches Ring Gauge: 44 Vitola: Corona Gorda MSRP: $7.50 (Boxes of 10, $75.55) Date Released: June 11, 2012 Number of Cigars Smoked for Review: 2 Resting time: 2yrs 6 months Prelight: Sweet leather, cedar, floral, nuts and light pepper 1st 1/3 The Frank Jr. starts off with nuts, pepper, earthy notes and cedar and settles into a smooth cocoa with some spicy herbal and grass notes 2nd 1/3 The cocoa is becoming a major player now and the light pepper is falling off with some spices remaining and now some lemon, strength is a medium. Last 1/3 Cocoa remains at the top with a added muddy chocolate note that seems bitter Overall it seemed to go all over the place in it’s flavor profile. The Frank Jr. is a decent cigar but the Frank Jr. is the least of my favorite Smoking time 1 hr Score 8
