Default Sis-In-Law's Birthday Boil

Final tally:

2 bushels of oysters
2 dozen blue crabs
10 lbs of shrimp
20 lbs of crawfish
lost count of ears of corn, potatoes, onions, lemons, and garlic
a couple of slabs of ribs
corn fritters
hummus
red beans & dirty rice
several different salads
2 or three birthday cakes
a couple of kegs
a flask of 8 year old rum (for me)
a Gran Habano Corojo #5, an Oliva V, a San Cristabel, and a AF Dbl Château Fuente (again for the chef)
A very Great time!

Ended up doing the boil in three batches and 2 batches of crabs. Started eating around 2 and didn't really stop until after 8. And talk about a great batch of stock. About 4 gallons of goodness that went into the freezer for future jambalaya's, paella's, etc!

Getting started

The bugs don't have a clue

Time for their bath (a very hot bath)

About done

Teasing the crowd
