Default Geroge Bowman Dark Caribbean Rum

Was at the local ABC store today and they had a display setup with this rum on it. This is from a Virginia distillery located a few miles south of me - so naturally I had to pick up a bottle. It's purported to be a Colonial era dark Caribbean style rum. A very nice clear, bright, reddish deep amber - if that makes sense - LOL

As bottled it has a great presentation. I could not find any tasting notes on it except for what is on the makers website:

A. Smith Bowman

It looks to be a very interesting rum from those notes with it's coconut, vanilla, molasses, honey and brown sugar flavors. Anybody else heard of or tried it? I may give it a go this weekend. Price point was $29.95.

Very interesting. Since I'll be down south (on our way to FL as I type this in my BB), there is a possibility I'll see some. I'm still lamenting what happened to my beloved Zaya, and haven't completely settled on a replacement yet, though Zacapa 23 is the leading candidate.
