The Three Stooges movie
Hmmmm...well, don't know how this is going to be, as they Farrelly brother's are slated to direct. I hope it's casted and written well. We sill see....

Re: The Three Stooges movie
I must admit I'll probably go and see it! As I recall, there was a movie made about the 3 awhile back that showed the not so fun times they dealt with.

Re: The Three Stooges movie
I have very mixed feelings about this. I spent a lot of time as a kid watching the stooges. I must have seen each feature about 50 times.
Then came the BIG disappointment of the animated Three Stooges in the 70s. It sucked. I'm not sure if the creators were trying to preserve the Stooges legacy (as the Farrely Bros claim to be doing) or to make a buck off of their popularity, but it sucked big time. This new project soit'n'ly has the potential to do just that...suck big time. I mean, who wants to see anybody pretend to be Moe, Larry and Curly? I think I would much rather watch the originals, the masters. On the other hand, to see the Stooges being completely un-PC in this ridiculously PC world could be rip-roaring hilarious if all caution was thrown to the wind and they actually took the risk. Dare they? Please, oh please, don't let them be in a rock band, or gay or some stupid sh*t like that. Please. |
