Default Humidor selection

Been a long time and I really need to start treating my aging collection better.

Many moves and many years the collection has changed and downsized, but ive been enjoying and thinking about it a bit more lately. so I think its time to pull them out of storage and into something proper, feel free to judge.

Pictures below for size reference, but ive been using a pelican case 1620 with fairly careful stacking for a bit too long.

Looking for something cabinet like for this and some room to grow but still under 1k, 3-5cu.ft should do I think for space? Are electrostats better these days? Whats out there these days?

I have two Belmont 600's like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Prestige-Grou.../dp/B003V0PZS8
They do not seal tight at all but I have had zero issues with either one. Have calibrated hygrometers several times and they hold at 68% even in the dry Alabama summers. Shop around. The first one my wife bought me for Christmas for $389. The second I stumbled upon on craigslist new for $100. Both of mine have a Xikar disk and an Oasis pack. By themselves, Oasis packs are garbage but pairing them with a medium Xikar disk, they do quite well.

Im basically looking for what you have there without the legs, or one of the electric cabinets which are basically just redone wine coolers.

I don't have this but it looks like a good fit for what your looking for! https://www.amazon.com/Prestige-Grou.../dp/B00OL55ZJQ
You would need a electric Cigar Oasis humidification device for it.

Or this (The Montegue Humidor Cabinet has been around a long time)
https://yourelegantbar.com/products/...et-humidor-100

Another

I wish Bob was still making his humidors

I had one of those and a Lauderdale cabinet back in the day, both served me well. Looks like the Lauderdale is more reasonably priced, and free shipping.

If its between these two I few things to look at:
On the Bolivar:
Are you ok with the glass door? Can't be in any sunlight and you have to be ok with people being able to see all your cigars!
It is not as deep as the Montegue its only 26" W x 17" D x 39" H
Only has a Wiring Port In Rear For Electric

I like the look of the Montegue as it looks like a nice piece of furniture that could fit in to most decors. It is also deeper 24” W x 26” D x 30” H
Also has two interior A/C electrical outlets inside.

Psh I want to stare at them, like a small child with the fridge open looking for a snack at 3am

but both good points. My other consideration is do I really need that much space too.

The angled shelves are a waste and you'll wish you had the extra space of more flat shelves as time passes by.

Absolutely.

The small cabinets I had, one sealed perfectly upon arrival, the other one I doctored one area with some weather stripping.

Thirded.

Throughout my cigar smoking life I went the natural progression: 10-ct cheapie humidor, to cheapie 25, to nice quality 100, to wineador, to Aristocrat end table. If I'd known then what I know now I'd have just started with the end table.

Went and ordered the big end table. Icehog3 has seen my progression and then downsizing. I guess I should know bigger is better by now haha!

Thanks everyone!
