Default Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 - Robusto

So, I picked up a 10 pack of these going back years ago remembering really liking these cigars back then. I've smoked one and really enjoyed it and now that it's had some time to rest i feel it's time to review it. I've always enjoyed rocky patel's cigars and have met him at a couple herfs before. I remember him giving us the new vintage 92 with the 60RG before it's formal release and then drinking a mojito with him afterwards. I think i handed him a Monte #2 if my memory serves correct. He graciously accepted it so he's not a "I only smoke NC" snob either. So without further delay let's give this cigar a proper review!

Wrapper: A dark Oily broadleaf wrapper with some veins, single capped.

Prelight/Draw: Prelight aromas are cinnamon and chocolate. Draw is perfect with immediate flavors of chocolate

Chocolate, cinnamon, burnt marshmallow, earthiness, deep campfire, Now this is what an earthy cigar should taste like, Finish is oily and coats the mouth, dried fruits, This is what I expected the CAO Arcana firewalker to taste like, Some spice, Has a fragrant soap undertone, coffee,

earthiness, chocolate, cinnamon, campfire, vanilla, burnt marshmallow, still has a nice oily finish, white pepper, some spice, hint of salt, coffee, Pepper, hints of cayenne, cedar,

earthiness, campfire, dark chocolate, vanilla, espresso, hints of salt, pepper, spice, dried fruits, cedar,

Ash/Burn: Ash held well and was well packed. The burn was uneven and needed a lot of touching up unfortunately to an otherwise good cigar.

Final Thoughts: So, this was a very pleasant cigar compared to the CAO Arcana Firewalker yesterday. Flavors started sweet with milk chocolate and burnt marshmallow then developing into a more earthy cigars with campfire flavor notes. All in all and very nice experience and happily recommend this cigar. I would buy another 10 pack in an instant and so should you burn issues aside. So, that's my review and final thoughts on this cigar. I hope you have a blessed day! God bless you all!

Thanks for another great review, Jason, and please pardon me if I decline.

It's been several years since I've smoked one of these. I enjoyed them back in the day. I might have to pick up a fiver to check them out again.
