Building a WWII War Plane
So guys, my buddy and I are real active with a local War Plane Museum, he has taken on a personal project of building a P-51 Mustang from scratch and painting the same color scheme as Leland H. Pennington's plane. Pennington was a member of the famed Tuskegee Airmen (First all black squadron, one of the most successful in history) from here in Rochester, New York that went MIA during the war. His plane nor body have ever been found.
We have been raising money for months, and the project has been accepted by Pepsi's Refresh Project, but we need votes to help us win the $10k reward. You can vote at the link below: http://www.refresheverything.com/lucygal Also, if any of you are interested in just donating, I can hook you up with the pay pal information. You can also check out the facebook page by searching "1941 Historical Aircraft Group", it is based out of Geneseo, New York. Please and thanks guys. |
