They're not that hard to build... I've made quite a few... If you simply want a laser to burn things with reds are pretty cheap and easy to come by..: bluray's are the best burners though and ca
n get quite pricey... Either way these things aren't toys... I've been building and playing with lasers for some time.. A fraction of a second of eye exposure and you're left with permanent damage...

Lol.. I noticed I said that after typing it... What I should have said is: lasers are toys, they're frikin awesome toys! But proper precautions should be taken so no one looses an eye

I love playing with the green one we have at work, especially when their's a fire near by so all the ash is in the air and catches the beam, awesome stuff!

This blue one is like that w/o the fog/ash/ mist. Extremely dangerous. F'ing bright. the thing comes with a training lens.
