Default EP Carrillo Short Run, have you tried them?

I recently picked up both the Populares (4 7/8" x 50) and Delirios (5 7/8" x 52. After smoking one of each I am really impressed with the Populares and found the Delirios lacking. The Populares was full of flavor and smoking beautifully while the Delirios seemed young and unrefined. I think that the Delirios may need some more time, but the Populares are smoking great right now. Anyone else try these yet? What were your thoughts?

I picked up a single at the B&M last week. Hopefully they don't suck as bad as the Inaugural edition did.

No I haven't tried them, I do want to though, but I guess they will be sold out by the time I get to the US.

What sizes did you try? Did you like one over the other?

I lit one last weekend and it wasn't bad, but I didn't end up smoking it either. I say stick to the Inaugurals if you can keep from wincing at the price tag.

Really? No disrespect, but how can you say they sucked? I get that you and other people might not like it, but it definitely did not suck. It's not a cigar I would really reach for to smoke on a regular basis as I like a more full bodied smoke, but I thought it was a good cigar for being on the mild/medium side and read a lot of good reviews.

Well, everyone was saying how it was in the Top 10 cigars of the year. My B&M even gave it the #1 cigar of the year.

It was horrible and tasted like pipe tobacco

I have to agree and I'm picky. mild sure, but they taste pretty balanced and smooth to me. nothing weird or sucky that I can recall and I've smoked probably 5 or so Inaugurals now.

Smoking one right now, it's very different from the EP... not bad so far, a lot more flavors than I thought.

Smoking one right now, and I'm lovin it. Medium flavored, medium strength. perfect burn and draw. Alittle spice and some coffee like flavors.

Picked up a couple but have not had a chance to smoke them yet. Hoping to catch up on some much neglected smoking once my vacation hits.

There's a lot of hype swirling around this guy's cigars. Are they worth the price point?

I love this cigar. I have smoked close to a box of them and have yet to have one with any bad burn issues. Will probably be getting a box soon.

With the exception of the Inaugural editions, they're all priced fairly reasonably.

Most recently I tried the Core Line and thought it was very good. The Short Run didn't make much of an impression on me, but I also put it down without giving it a fair chance. I'll make a point to grab another one soon.

I loved the Short Run. Very unique flavors from most cigars. I can understand how one would dislike it based on these flavors but I loved it. Nice for something truly different to hit the market.
