Feeling at Home
|
777 Belicoso
Wrapper: Nicaragua
Binder: Nicaragua Filler: Nicaragua I picked up this single for about $5. This smoke sports a rich and oily deep brown to black wrapper. Has a couple of pronounced veins. Firm feel. The wrapper has a deep chocolaty aroma. Prelight draw is very chocolaty. First third - Initial draw is lighter in body than I was expecting but very smooth with flavors of tobacco and light cocoa. Effortless draw producing tons of smoke. Quite spicy on the nose exhale. Very short and clean aftertaste. Moves to a very smooth primarily tobacco tasting smoke. Reminds me of a Padron x000 series flavor profile at this point. Second third - Staying very smooth but with a much fuller and deeper flavor profile. Still primarily tobacco now with hints of leather and chocolate. Also has a slight sweetness. The aftertaste is starting to pick up with some peppery spice. Near the end of this third it really starts to pick up in intensity with a strong and lingering aftertaste. Last third - Maintaining it's strength and then some! Very heavy flavors of tobacco with a strong peppery spice and mocha aftertaste paired with a mild sweetness. Heavy in body. Good burn throughout. Overall this was an enjoyable smoke. Apparently all of the vitolas have different blends and I would be interested in trying out the entire line. At this price point no complaints about this cigar. Recommended! |

Re: 777 Belicoso
Thanks for the review. I've only had the one of these but your review was exactly as I remember it.
I just like the fact I can tell people I've had a cigar made by Jesus I wonder if any of the "virgins" who roll CC's are called Mary? |
