Re: Going to Jamaica
Been there many times...save your money and your time and bring your own. Jamaica is not a typical cigar haven as they charge quite a bit because they think everyone touring there is loaded. Also... a word to the wise stay close to your hotel during the evening and do not go out exploring around the island at night as strange things tend to take place there. Other than that have a great wedding as I gotta think you won't be leaving the hotel that much anyway except for food and drink.

Re: Going to Jamaica
I was in Negril a couple years ago, you're gonna love it. And to your point, yep, I'd just bring your own. There are a couple places to get cigars but I would say the legitimacy is questionable at best. There is the duty free at the airport in Montego Bay, but I don't know that you can get to the shops as you exit the airport. Was kinda strange to me.
Anyway, bring your own, congrats on your marriage, and enjoy the hell out of Negril. |

Re: Going to Jamaica
I was there for a wedding in 2007. You will see many interesting cigars there, like barber pole Cohibas sold in a t-shirt shop. I brought 30 sticks down with me.
