Default What are some well-known cigars you've never tried?

I've never smoked a NC Cohiba or Montecristo.

I've also never smoked a classic CT wrap Ashton or a God of Fire.

Default Re: What are some well-known cigars you've never tried?

I think I smell a booby trap here somewhere.
I have never smoked an Acid. Not tried a Tatuaji, or whatever, Tat. Never tried the famous Cohiba Esplendido from that other place. Seen plenty of fake ones. I have sure tried almost everything you can find in an average store humidor all over the world.

No NC Bolivars or NC Fonsecas. Never anything by Padilla or by Drew Estate outside of his cheapie lines LVH or Acid. Prolly a lot more lines

Never had most of the "major" NC brands: cohiba, monte, macanudo, Rocky.

Seems crazy, but I have always just avoided them.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I know; it's been forever. I've been a little lurky (though not as much as I've wanted to), but just haven't been getting it together to post. I'm aiming to fix that.

I have never smoked a Macanudo--probably because no vendor has given them away for free yet. Air should be free, right?

Tatuajes are great smokes! Snag some on C-bid. You're missing out.

I've never had a Cohiba Esplendido either.

Padilla are hit or miss. Quite a few of them are very good mid-grade cigars.

Drew Estate makes some great smokes! I'd recommend the Liga Privada of course (not the Undercrown though, they are meh) and the Herrera Esteli. The Nirvana is also a good smoke.

You're not missing anything special, other than the Nicaragua line. The CT wrap Davidoffs are good smokes, but not worth the coin. The Nicaragua line are fantastic. Pricey, but a nice treat for special occasions. One of the best NCs I've ever smoked, honestly.

That was my sense of Padilla. Seem to have a number of lines if I remember correctly, a bit tough to keep track.

Got sniped last minute on an auction of 10 Papas Fritas a couple of days ago... Was looking forward to trying those. I was lurking on an Estelli auction but never pulled the trigger. I'll certainly keep your suggestions in mind!
