I absolutely love checking out other people's desktops. It give you a lot of insight about the person and the types of things they do for work and in their spare time. Quite illuminating.

Haha, I just turned it up.

and that is Adium, it's a multi chat client support program similar to Trillian. That's actually the Batman skin on the icon, typically it's just a duck.
