Another slope revisited
I started nosing around the pipe section awhile ago and started thinking I should consider trying a pipe again. Was over a my local b&m a couple of weeks ago and was talking to the clerk about this as well. As I was paying for my cigar the guy smoking one behind me started asking me questions regarding pipe smoking. It turns out he was the area rep for MacBaren tobaccos and he said he'd give me a couple of samples of his wares.
So I went back home and dug around the attic and found my old Kaywoodie Standard that I smoked way back in college and went about cleaning & refurbishing it. Meanwhile I picked up an inexpensive Erickson so I could get started immediately. Then markinca happened to check in with me and I related the story to him. Now he has a couple of samples coming my way. I think I just fell down another slope!!! |

Here's my Kaywoodie Oversized Doug:
Got this off of *bay not too long back. Old estate pipe, thick walls, deep bowl, and just a massive peace of wood in the hand Weighs just enough to keep me sliding down this slope...
