I miss my friends. An update from a lost traveler.
Wow. I don't even know what's going on here. I've tried to catch up just to see what's going on. From what I understand, it looks as is if several forums have merged. Anyhow, I just wanted to give all of you fellows that remember who I am an update on life, and I'm sorry for not having done it sooner.
Your very own Tecnorobo (who was 17 when he joined) is now legal. Yes indeed folks, I'm 21. I guess I'm a beer snob of sorts. I happen to enjoy a good brew here and there, and mostly everything I drink comes from micro brewery's. Either way, I figured that you might find that interesting. How time fly's. I'm still in school and have about two years to go before I get my bachelors degree. My major is english- emphasis in creative writing if you've all forgotten. School has been pretty tough, but I'm trying to stay strong and keep on the ball. I still currently live with my parents because I go to a community college (so it's a commuter campus) but I'll be moving out when I transfer to finish up my schooling. In recent news, I've been dating a gal (another thing that's hard to believe right?) for about five months now. She's pretty swell, and I like her a whole lot. I haven't smoked any tobacco for about two months now. When you all heard from me last, I think I was on my hookah kick. I gave that thing up a while back. It was becoming addictive and I couldn't justify it anymore. I also have chronic sinus problems and that crazy thing was not helping me very much in that arena. I'm currently out of a job (and looking) so that's primarily one reason why some of my hobbies have been axed. I imagine I could still easily get into cigars if presented the chance... But more than anything, I miss my friends. All else mentioned, life is pretty much the same that it was when I left off here. Hanging out with friends, trying to get "the future" sorted out and the like. I don't even necessarily know who to give a shot out to fearing I'd forget someone, but I remember you guys and think about you from time to time. I still value your friendships but I've not been the best "friend" and for that I apologize. I hope all is well with you gorillas... err, pufferfish, i mean... uhh.. asylum inmates? -Blake |

Re: I miss my friends. An update from a lost trave
Thanks for the welcome back fellows. Sticking around here isn't going to be good for my pockets... I can already tell you all that much. I could very easily see myself getting back into the hobby. Quite frankly I miss it.
I believe someone famous round these parts said I came for the cigars but I stayed for the friends. Even though I haven't smoked a gar for quite a while, I can't help but stop by these parts at least now and then. It's great to hear from you all again. Fish sticks on tuesdays? You know, if you guys ever wanna break out of this joint let me know. I've been watching this tv show called prison break. It's given me some ideas...

Whatever you do, Blake, don't show her that pic of you in the bikini. Jealously is such an ugly thing.

The bikini I was wearing was certianly another girl's, and I did know her. But she happened to be my buddies girlfriend at the time. Yup... I was that guy

Either that or a mangy squirrel will mistake him for a mate.
