The vault is finally complete!
As some of you may know, I moved into a loft condo in a converted warehouse, and inherited a walk in vault. Apparently these were quite common in the early 20th century, as no one really trusted banks. They are also known as "book vaults", where one would keep the ledgers. 18 inch walls, original doors (quite damaged.)
Anyway - Genuwine Cellars did the installation and cooling, and Moneta Enterprises restored the doors, locks and tumblers. The bars were chromed to reduce the effect of wear. Here is the finished product....  Hand lettering, faithful to the original:    Aladdin's cave....

 Quite a few scotches form Scotch Malt Whisky Society - fantastic single cask, cask strength releases...  Some nice Bordeaux....  A little Spain...

Yes, I'm a smokehead...
 Display humi - not very practical, does have some mass strorage, but mostly this is like death row for cigars. Here they come to enjoy 62%RH before coming to a fiery end.
