Anyone try the EO no. 21?
I'm always a little leery of the CI hype - has anyone tried one for these? At around $40 for 21 the price is right.

Yes, I have had them. A little bitter on the light, not too bad. The 601 black label is much, much better.
The Kioki troop support connecticutt is better to me than the EO601. You might want to compare a fiver of both before you buy a bundle of either.

I think they're pretty good, especially the Maduro.

I had a bundle of the robustos that were a good smoke for a decent price. My first was given to me at an event at my B&M by the rep - he said that they would be coming out soon (last year). That one was a Toro size and it was also a very nice cigar for that price point. I think they go for about $40/bundle or so in the B&M's around here.

They are OK, a 5Vegas Gold and Kioki is just as good or better.

Re: Anyone try the EO no. 21?
OK i havent tried one out of the 5pack i got yet... but im wondering if anyone has heard anyhting more on these... I know theyre advertised as coming from the E&O factory in miami... which is where the 601's and cubao's are blended by pepin.. however no description mentions pepin having anything to do with them.. BUT the thing that struck me as odd... if you go to the CI site, and in the search function you type in don pepin... ALL of his cigars come up AND these come up as well... any thoughts on who may blend this as of yet?
i must say, the wrapper and size doesnt look like his style.. |
