Good morning all, the Killer Beans are kickin' and it's Thursday which means we'll be at Hudson Valley Cigars / Schlesinger's Cigar Bar this evening. I see that according to NOAA, we are suppose to get around an inch of snow this evening which isn't that much at all. After that, we should have a nice sunny November weekend:

I hope everyone has a relaxing day as well and enjoys........

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday. This is the final weekend for NASCAR as all three series of racing will crown a champion for 2014:

Also this weekend, there's plenty of NFL, NHL, NBA and other sports to watch throughout it. Enjoy everyone.......

Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0430 as always and it's already Monday morning. A big congrats to Kevin Harvick and the entire #4 Budweiser Racing Team for taking the checkered flag and being crowned the 2014 NASCAR Champion. I can hardly wait until Speed Week in Daytona next February. Anyway, enjoy the week everyone and smoke a couple of your favorites throughout it if you get the chance........

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's "Hump Day". It's another cold one out there right now, NOAA is saying that it's 18 degrees with a windchill of 5°F:

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...9#.VGx0e9bFmi4

This coming Saturday, Army has their last home football game and it's versus Fordham. Should be a packed house considering that they are the Bronx (NYC) and history proves that they like to represent up here at West Point. http://www.fordham.edu/ Anyway, enjoy the day everyone and try and stay warm.......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a brisk Thursday morning. With Thanksgiving a week away, I hope everyone doesn't go crazy shopping the day after and creating havoc in preparation for Christmas. Enjoy the holidays with your family and friends like the ole' days. We'll be at Hudson Valley Cigars / Schlesinger's Cigar Bar this evening doing just that and seeing how everyone is surviving "Mother Nature". Enjoy all and smoke a favorite or two if you get the chance........

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a sunny Sunday morning here in the Hudson Valley. Congrats to Army for winning yesterday in the final home football game over Fordham. Hopefully they can do the same in a couple of weeks down in Baltimore and finally beat Navy for a change. Anyway, we got plenty of NFL, NHL and NBA on the television today, so enjoy everyone and smoke a favorite or two or.......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's a windy and wet Monday morning. Congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles and to the New York Rangers on their decisive wins. I see that we have a winter weather watch for Wednesday into Thursday morning. The weather guessers over at NOAA are predicting roughly 10 inches throughout the 24 hour period.

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...9#.VHMLYtbFmi5

Time to put away the rakes and take out the snow shovels. Anyway, enjoy the week everyone and if you are traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday, be safe and enjoy your time with family and friends......

Good morning all, the coffee is on as usual and it's the calm before the storm (literally). Got home from work yesterday a little early to prep for the storm and the up coming Thanksgiving holiday, I think we are ready. I see that the NY Jets got their butts whooped last night and the NO Saints lost as well. Hope everyone has a good day and enjoys......

Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 as we (West Point) had our first "Adverse Weather Conference Call" this morning with the impending weather headed our way. After all of the key players weighing in, it is determined that West Point is "Code Red" all day:

http://www.westpoint.army.mil/pages/viewroads.aspx

Snow Policy (Non-emergency positions)

"WEST POINT IS CODE WHITE UNTIL (stated time, or, all day)."The West Point Snow Policy is in effect until the stated time, or all day. Employees, who might be prevented from reporting to work, should be granted annual leave, accrued compensatory time or LWOP if they prefer. Employees still need to contact their supervisor for approval. Specific procedures for requesting leave in these circumstances are at the discretion of each activity.

"WEST POINT IS CODE RED UNTIL (stated time)." Employees should not report until the announcement time. Supervisors will excuse absences without charge to leave for all employees affected whether or not leave was previously approved. Employees who do not report for work by the announced time will be charged leave for the remainder of their absence if it was properly requested and approved.

"WEST POINT IS CODE RED ALL DAY." Only employees in emergency positions should report to work. Employees in non-emergency positions should not report to work until their next regularly scheduled workday.

Watch Command message on snow policy here.
NOAA is still predicting 8" to 10" in our area, should be a great way to start this Thanksgiving holiday. Be safe out there everyone and give thanks and enjoy........

Good Thanksgiving morning everyone, the coffee is on and the turkey will be going in the oven shortly. We have 11 relatives coming over for dinner and a few more for desert afterwards. We got a good 10" to 12" of snow yesterday, I went out twice to shovel but it snowed a little through the night so I'll be going back out it a bit to clean the cars and the drive. Once that's done, I'll watch the parade on the television and afterwards get ready for some football. Hope everyone has a great day and remember to say a prayer for all our soldiers, sailors and airmen in harms way especially our wounded warriors.......

Good morning or should I say good day. Had a great time yesterday with 17 of us at the house enjoying the holiday and all. Congrats to the Eagles for beating the Cowboys 33 to 10 in Dallas. Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend, my son Jeremy and his wife Christen are coming up from Delaware today to spend the weekend. Enjoy.......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's another brisk Sunday morning here in the Hudson Valley. It was good to see the NY Rangers win back to back wins over the Philidelphia Flyers, hopefully they can keep the streak going. Enjoy the day everyone and hopefully it warms up a bit so Jeremy and I can smoke a cigar or two.......

Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0430 as always and it's back to work after a nice 5 day break from the office. Relaxed yesterday afternoon watching some football on the television. Now that the Thanksgiving holiday is over, we have Christmas to look forward to which is less than a month away. If you have signed up for Secret Santa, get a jump on things and start thinking ahead. Enjoy the week everyone and smoke a favorite or two throughout it.......
