Re: beer hauls
Nice haul Tyr 2009 was pretty good, but 2010 and 2011 were much better for my tastes.

We just recently got Boulevard Brewery beers here in MA so I went out and bought two 4-packs. One was Double Wide Double IPA and the other was their beligian quad can't remember the exact name. The DIPA was pretty good but the quad was delicious.

Re: beer hauls
Save a couple for 20 years and those will be amazing. I've got a few in the cellar along with some Rochefort 10's.. Both are better than Westvleteren 12 IMO, although I haven't had the Westy with more than a year on it. I've read tasting notes on 1980's vintages that sound killer..

Man I haven't had a beer haul in a while, might have to make a trip up to Wegmans soon.
I can usually find some gems there: http://www.wegmans.com/webapp/wcs/st...LLECTION_37159

KS was a little late getting SN Ruthless Rye IPA, but I finally got ahold of a 12pk today.
It will be my SuperBowl beer if I can keep my hands off of it until then!

Re: beer hauls
Dave, do you know if they shipped some cases of the CW BBB down to Chicagoland?
I can't believe it but my local beer store still has a few cases of CW BBS. I may have to pick up one more before they're gone. |

Re: beer hauls
If your store got in BBS there is a chance you might get BBB. I would talk to the owner or manager and see what they know. Also find out the day(s) they get in CW.

and a six pack of Ale Asylum Satisfaction-Jacksin (DIPA) Heard good things about Ale Asylum. Really looking forward to diving into these two taste treats.
