Currently smoking a Padron 64 with breakfast. Over easy eggs, curried potatoes with sour cream and cheese, tomatos, and cinnamon infused coffee. The Padron paired fantastically with the spice of the curry as well as the cinnamon in the coffee.

Can't believe I'm gonna type this, but....

Gurkha Legend Vintage 2001 salomon.

Wasn't terrible...but wasn't great either. Mild-medium at the very most, hay and tobacco core with a hint of nuts every now and then. Burned fine and the ash held on for 1 1/2 inch chunks at a time. Draw felt fine but required double puffs to get a good amount of smoke and flavor output. Oddly enough, even with the double puffs it never got hot. I wouldn't smoke another one but I can honestly say that I don't regret having smoked this one.

I had a Durango Pipe Tobacco cigar last night. Fox and Hound I think it was. It was mild, had a nice room note, and it tasted like a cigar... and sometimes like an aromatic tobacco.

Weird. Very weird. I have a couple more to try, so I'll give it a fair shake. It lit easily using the three match method. Burn was even. Didn't get nasty until the nub.

Again, weird.
