I was not confident in a B's victory until Marchand's EN. I thought Rask was going to pull a Rask and really Rask it up.

Next round will be fun. My wife is a Lightning fan and every time the Bruins and Lightning meet in the playoffs we have a standing NHL Jersey bet. If the B's win, she has to get me a personalized Bruins jersey, and if Tampa wins I get her a Lightning one.

Not that I wish anything bad on Stamkos .. but you know if he fell down a flight of stairs and grabbed on to Andrei and pulled him down as well ...

Translation: Brad Marchand pushed Stamkos down a flight of stairs, and then goes all Tonya Harding on Andrei...

Tim Thomas saves in the 2011 playoffs, so for those Rask defenders, it's not like Thomas had any great D in front of him either, if anything there were more odd man rushes and breakaways coming at him. Some of these saves were amazing and that's how you become the MVP of the Stanley Cup Finals as a goaltender.

Vegas could take bets, stomach issue, general soreness, blister... oh wait that’s baseball pitchers, well he could still try it.

Truth.

Derrek, not sure how you feel about the Jets, but I will be rooting for them to castrate the Sexual Predators.

Well Ehlers had “malaise”. He seems to be over that!

Bucky steals game 1 against Nashville, but you gotta love Stasny-Ehlers-Liane line. They look like can score from anywhere!

Hellebuyck was out of his mind last night.

I picked him up, along with Wheeler, Schiefle and Byfuglein for round 2 in my playoff pool. So a bunch points from them would be greatly appreciated.

They showed that clip of him in the locker room getting ready before the game and he was eye f---ing the camera like a crazy man. The first thought I had was "He looks like he should be on Game of Thrones trying to bang Daenerys Targaryen so he can steal one of her dragons."

What a great game 1 from the Bruins! Nice to see Rick Nash capitalizing on his chances...finally.

I saw that clip, it was great. As he turned away, you could see him start to smirk.

Number one line was outta control as well. I am not sure how Pastrnak didn't get an assist on Marchand's goal (that would have given him 5). There's no control by the Bolts between Pastrnak's touch and Krug's shot.

Rask still sucks. I go into every Bruins' game like it's another loss waiting to happen because Rask sucks and chokes (like the blow and gulp but suck and choke) that way if the team bails him out and they win I'm happy if they lose... well Rask sucks. It's like Derek Lowe pitching for the Red Sox the season he had a sh!tload of wins, what most people didn't look at was he also had the highest run support in the majors at something like 7 runs per start.

Bruins actually played D in front of him, they know it's the only way.

Top line is going all Hulk smash on goalies.

Bruins top line is outstanding, Kreji and Debrusk aren't too shabby either.

Sad to see Vegas finally take a loss. We shall see how it affects them going forward.

Two more great games to smoke to today!
