Wild Goalie Josh Harding diagnosed with MS. He is a very good goalie who has been a huge supporter of a number of different causes. Classy guy, and I wish him well.

Not much hope for the owners-players meeting set for today, since that jerkoff owner of the Bruins, believed to be the owner's ringleader in the lockout, is participating.

Mediation already failed, E.J......sounds like this owner-player only meeting might be the last chance before the players disband the union and sue the owners under anti-trust laws.

I assumed they had a moderator in the meeting today to facilitate it.....

Again, I am starting to think we're not getting NHL hockey this season....

I'd say we have about 3-4 weeks before they nut the whole season.

God only knows how long the case will drag on if they sue.

Talks in the NHL labor fight broke down after just one hour Thursday night, and it isn't known when the league and the players' association would get back together.

After several hours of waiting for discussions to resume for a third consecutive day, the conversations didn't go well and had none of the momentum that existed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Time to start decertification and start antitrust suits.
Screw the owners and the NHL.

Very disappointing news. I don't think it's a coincidence that the talks go south again as soon as Bettman and Fehr are back involved. It's like a pi$$ing contest. Between the two egos, they will ruin the NHL for good. Bastards.

I worry about how long a court battle would ensue if the PA decertifies the union. Might the start of the 2013-14 season even be delayed?

Would the owners reconsider their position and settle before the court battle begins?

I am guessing if there is no agreement by New Years, this season is history.

More cancellations yesterday. My guess is that we have lost yet another NHL season.

Scott Burnside and a couple other ESPN analysts seem to think it might get done this week. (hope hope hope).

I would guess Jan 1st as the drop dead date.

It makes sense the TV money kicks in in January. Piss off NBC and your cutting your own throat, not that it matters to the scumbag owners.
