Sox got a little pay back today 14-1 romp Hell they scored 11 last night that should be enough to win any game? But with a piece of crap like Penny giving up eight quick runs the game was out of hand early.

Penny blows, his fat ass needs to hit the road. Nice to see Gonzalez actually hit one out.

But If we win the wild card, the Sox will go down to a four man rotation, that means someone will see Beckett or Lester twice. Penny is out, Wake is back this week, Dice-K should be back in two weeks, that's an 18 game winner back in the rotation. I like our chances

More cash for clunkers , Billy Wagner to the Sox. Just what we need, a broken down circus dog that chokes in big games.

He'll pitch an inning at most on Pap's off days. It's not like we're talking about a starter here. And we got him for basically nothing. I think it could either be a really good pickup for us or Eric Gagne 2.0...

Theo is in love with these reclaimation projects for pitchers, I just don't get it. You would think that after his experiences with Gange, Smoltz, Penny et al he would have wised up by now.

Realllllllly good to see Ortiz start to swing the bat. Offense is starting to turn it up, hopefully pitching mans up as well.

Sox pitch a bad Penny, he was released today. Hold on to your hats boys and girls, it's time to make the playoff push

The experiment with the sushi boy was a total disaster last night. On a positive note, Paps seems to be more focused and throwing better the past couple of times out. Maybe he has been pitching with an injury since June? Still, he is 30 of 33 which is Hall of Fame reliability even with the heart attacks. Have faith, this team is turning the corner. P

Apparently, we can also put Nick Green in if we need someone in a pinch... Don't write off Tazawa yet. He's going to be on the roster a few more weeks until Matsuzaka gets back. Great to see Wake back in it and pitching 7 solid innings.
