It was a good beer, dry finish which makes it pretty drinkable. This is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your perspective, if you want a big heavy stout this is not your beer - but if you want something that is more 'drinkable' this is a great beer. It's not 'thin' by any means, but it does not have the 'body' of a big Russian Imperial Stout. Hope that helps with someone's decision making.

The Weyerbacher was a 4pk & the Bell's was a 6--needed a good quantity of yeast to harvest besides, it's a great beer.

I like my pumpkin beers to favor the pumpkin spice flavors, especially nutmeg and vanilla. Pumking is hands down my favorite, Shipyard is shockingly similar, at a much lower price. Buffalo Bills and (not pictured) Post Road are next in line. The Weyerbacher and Schlafly are both a little more toned down on the spice, followed by the Tommyknocker. From past experience I've found Dogfishead and Smuttynose to favor pumpkin over spice, so they usually don't come home with me.

I love October.

Just picked up 3 six packs yesterday Left Hand Milk Stout, Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, and Smuttynose Pumpkin. Had to restock after quite a few of my Sam Adams Harvest collection broke when I opened the bottle.

I'd like to know what you think of these. The Smokestack series are some of my favorites.

The Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad was awesome, haven't tried any other. I'd like to know what your thoughts on the Sixth Glass are though.

Sixth Glass is my second favorite behind Tank 7. I'm not good at describing flavors, I just know what I like. It's funny because, I haven't tried a SS series that I don't like. My wife says it's because they're $10-$12 a bottle.
My least favorite was the Brett-Saison, still good, as they all are, but there was something about it that I didn't care for as much.

I love this time of year.

no explanation needed

2 cases of Pumking

4-4pks of Backwoods, 2.5 4pks of Harvest

A case and a half of Breakfast Stout.

I've also picked up some Sweetwater Dank Tank Ghoulash, which is awesome.

Several other pumpkin beers, and a few coffee stouts to age.
