The Relic is one of my favorite Douglas/Preston novels and what got me hooked on Agent Pendergast's many adventures.

I'm trying to read all the magazines I'm behind on. I buy them via Zinnio on iPad. I think I only have about 10 left to be caught up.

The third book is A Storm of Swords. Awesome series so far!!

I'm currently reading The Devil In The White City by Erik Larson. It's about the world's fair that was held in Chicago back in 1893 and a killer who stalked the city at that time. It's non-fiction and really good!

Just started "In Fifty Years We'll all Be Chicks..... and other complaints from an angry middle aged white guy" by Adam Carolla. My Nephew got this for me for my birthday. I am quite sure he did not know what this is about but man is it funny.

Volume two of the Last Lion trilogy about Churchill. The first was excellent and this is picking up where it left off.

Just finished Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. For some reason I was reluctant to start it and it's been sitting unread on my Kindle for quite a while. Wow, what a mistake that was. Great book!

After watching the series on HBO, I started to read the books on my iPad. I am liking it a lot, but it has caused more than a few sleepless nights since I can't put it down. I just start Book 3 (A Storm of Swords) last night.

I am also wandering how this book is. I saw it at Barnes a while back but am waiting to finish A Dance with Dragons first.

What Hath God Wrought by Daniel Walker Howe. Won the Pulitzer Prize for history and looks at the transformation of America from 1815-1845.
