Tomorrow we go get our marriage license.
We were gonna just get it in NC, but I thought it'd be a lot better to have it in hand when we get down there.
So far, almost married life has been awesome. It's not gonna last long, so I'm trying to enjoy it.

It appears we're gonna get married on Monday, January 3rd.

We've had to wait to get a date out of my buddy who's coming up for the wedding. He's a preacher and he's going to marry us, and he's a bit loosey goosey. He just finally got his plane tickets last night, so we were able to set a date today.
I gotta admit I'm pretty excited about the whole thing.

No, we're gonna do the wedding up here now. UB, my buddy who's marrying us, wanted to come up here (from NC) with his wife. They're going to come stay with us for a week or so.
Our "getting married" date moved from New Year's day to January 3rd, just because of everyone's schedules. That's subject to change as well.
It isn't all completely fleshed out yet, but I'm sure it'll come together just fine.

We finally got our marriage license today.

I'd say I'm starting to get nervous, but I'm not at all. I was nervous six or eight months ago, and a little bit a couple months ago when we got real serious. The only reason I mention it is cause I thought I would be. So far, so good.

Lisa and I went and found a place to get married tonight. We're just going to have family and have lunch. The place is called Welshfield Inn. It's really nice, and should work out perfect.
We're going to have our reception a little later down the road once we can make time to plan. We already know what we're gonna do, or at least we have a real good idea. It's gonna be tons of fun, we're really excited about it. The wedding, too.
