Re: Latest Pipe-Related Purchase Thread
Got this on ebay...never expected it to be as huge as it is...the main body of the pipe is about as large as a tennis ball, the chamber is so deep that if I stick my first finger in it it goes to the second knuckle and it's far too heavy to clench in your teeth...this is a hand-holder...and with that deep chamber will be great for flakes...

Very nice pipe indeed Marc. Inspiring me to buy another pipe. Not sure if that's good or not...

Re: Latest Pipe-Related Purchase Thread
My first straight pipe and it's a Kaywoodie...all of my pipes are bents...generally I don't like straights...I was, however, perusing the ebay Kaywoodie listings and spotted this little number...octagon-shaped billiard...unsmoked too...the pipe is Kaywoodie shape number 44 “Octagon Apple”...it had the original $15.00 price sticker on the stem...the seller says he thinks the shape and price correspond to that of the 1968-69 Kaywoodie catalog...

Re: Latest Pipe-Related Purchase Thread
Thats a nice looking pipe and a great find on ebay. I found an awesome savinelli pipe on ebay but it needs a lot of love. I do not know if the owner ever cleaned the cake off of this thing. Might be a loss but I am hoping I can bring her back to life.

Re: Latest Pipe-Related Purchase Thread
This is the one from the bay. I will post a good pic this weekend. This is my 5th pipe I have tried to clean up so I am still new at the refurbishing thing. This one will be a good challenge. The outside does not seem too bad it is just the bowl and the mouth piece.

Re: Latest Pipe-Related Purchase Thread
I finally got my Green 999 spigot. I've been wanting one ever since I seriously started piping last year, and have been on the lookout for one for the last 5 or 6 months. She's almost to pretty to smoke...almost. I also picked up 8oz. of Exhausted Rooster, 2oz. of Mississippi Mud, and 4oz. of SG Chocolate Flake. |

Nice score. Love that shape 999 from Peterson. Been eyeballing a few styles myself. Baccy looks good too. Been looking at my tin of Exhausted Rooster in my cellar to try.
