That's what I was thinking. You guys turned me on to that one a few weeks back and it's one of the best I've ever had. I know what to go looking for next year.

Yep, at least compared to Buffalo Bill's. Less vanilla/whipped cream flavor than Shipyard and Pumking. More spice than DFH, among others.

Time to move on to stouts though, had my fill of pumpkin beer this year.

Just picked up 3 six packs yesterday Left Hand Milk Stout, Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, and Smuttynose Pumpkin. Had to restock after quite a few of my Sam Adams Harvest collection broke when I opened the bottle.

The Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad was awesome, haven't tried any other. I'd like to know what your thoughts on the Sixth Glass are though.

Sixth Glass is my second favorite behind Tank 7. I'm not good at describing flavors, I just know what I like. It's funny because, I haven't tried a SS series that I don't like. My wife says it's because they're $10-$12 a bottle.
My least favorite was the Brett-Saison, still good, as they all are, but there was something about it that I didn't care for as much.

I love this time of year.

no explanation needed

2 cases of Pumking

4-4pks of Backwoods, 2.5 4pks of Harvest

A case and a half of Breakfast Stout.

I've also picked up some Sweetwater Dank Tank Ghoulash, which is awesome.

Several other pumpkin beers, and a few coffee stouts to age.

You can get 4 packs for ten bucks...

On that note I love sixth glass. Probably my favorite Boulevard so far.

Nectar Ales Black Xantus
Quote:
Black Xantus (pronounced Zantis) is truly a unique bird. An Imperial Stout aged in American oak barrels, infused with fresh organic/ fair-trade coffee from our local coffee roaster, Jobella Coffee Roasters. This special, limited release beer bursts with bourbon and espresso aromas leading into chocolate and black cherry flavor. It’s 11% ABV is softened by time in barrels which also contributes to the beer’s appeal. We are very proud of this new addition to the Nectar Ales family.

Have you had any yet? I'm curious what other imperials it would be comparable to. A place near me has quite a few of them but I've never thought to grab one.

Yep, very good stout with great coffee flavor. Probably could use some cellar time though.

It may have come up in a google search. I have seen pics from here pop up when i search google images.

As for me i picked up a 6er of Trogs Mad Elf and a bottle of Ommegang Adoration. All the winter beers are showing up. Hope my wallet can hold up.

That's pretty low, but as Scott says, it may have been tagged in a search.

What's worse is the dude sold 1 bottle for $23 + $15 shipping. What a scam.
