Had some Frog Morton on the Town. Stuff was damn good. But was missing something. Going to get some FMOTBayou. Maybe that little bit of perique in there will make it a block buster.

Also cracked open a tin of Mac Baren's Roll Cake. Smoking it right now and I am not very impressed. Going to give this a few more smokes, than maybe on the trading block. So far Dark Twist definitely is where it is at.

To celebrate the Jewish New Year, and the conclusion of Shabbat and Yom Kippur, I'm having a bowl of Peterson's University flake in my Israeli Alpha.

I snuck out at lunch and smoked a bowl of Three Oaks Syrian that made Monday seem a little better.......
.
.
.
.....wait for it....
.
.
.......and then managed to not just drop my pipe but shut it in my car door, snapping it into two pieces!

Luckily it was just a cheap $20 Kaywoodie I picked up on ebay, but Monday still sucks!

Smoked my first bowl of Erinmore Flake. Damn tasty smoke. Going to pick up a few more Burley / VA Flake blends to try. I've had some burley blends but they were ribbon cut, I don't know if the pressing of the tobaccos makes that much more of a difference but I really enjoy the bowl I had.

Had a bowl of MB London Burly Blend this morning, a perfect pick for the cooler weather we are getting into.
The best way to describe it is this:
It reminds me of a hearty stew. Its bold, flavorfull, and thick, with a rich warming aroma not unlike roasted pecans.

GLP Westminster, favorite blend at the moment. Any recommendations to something similar to this?

Frog Morton is a VA/LAT blend that comes highly recommended by most. http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend_...LPHA=F&TID=768

Sutliffe Private Stock also makes a blend named "Westminster" which is also VA/LAT. Which might be worth checking out due to the price.
