Re: Odd Names You've Encountered
There was a mortgage lady in Birmingham, AL, a decade or so ago. I forget her maiden name, but her first two names, which she went by, was Mary Jane. Of course, she married a guy by the name of Weed.

Re: Odd Names You've Encountered
Cool, but a full name like "Democratic Republic Jones" would be even better.

Back in the day, my squad had a driver named Specialist Love. His first name was Harry. Nice guy. We drove M113 Armored Personnel Carriers and painted "Love Track" on the side of ours.
Last year in Afghanistan we had Staff Sergeant Cumm. He used to be in the Navy- Seaman Cumm. Oh, my. Another great guy. You have to have a sense of humor...

Once had a boss named Friday Knight
My wife went to school with a girl whose mom named her and her sister after their mom's favorite drinks: Shasta and Brandy

This morning on the local morning news radio show, there was an interview with a woman about this upcoming Native American festival in Powhatan. It was immediately followed by traffic & weather, reported by a guy named Redd Skinner.
I sh*t you not.

I knew someone in high school named Marvin Head. No, he wasn't a geeky, skinny guy either, but a big stoner with a bad attitude, so nobody made fun of HIS name! LOL! He's probably in prison now.
