There's hope in this season yet!

He should be frustrated....embarrassed? Allowed 4 goals on 15 shots, which isn't much worse than his early season average of .846...not even cracking the top 38 in the league...

Emery got the third star how embarrassing is that?
I heard there was no rule in place to suspend him..just watch Shanahan makes one up as he goes along.

Really wish the nhl would have the stones to say when a ref blows a call. We have had no call on hits that were later ruled suspensions. Majors assessed on clean hits and gems like the waved off goal in last nights sharks sabers game. Intent to blow whistle my as $

Toronto blew that, Mike, not the refs.

I still put blame on the ref for not taking the time to review the play. In a situation like that with a scramble and player alleging it went in why not take a look.

Just wstching NHL tonight bad look with the fan ripping the helmet of Pardys head and the lady pouring her wine on him. Dude looked lit, but thats worthy of a fan ban.

Now that was the Avs I was expecting.... Porous defense, looking lost often, bursts of "wow" but a lot of..."what?" I missed the last 30 minutes(had a hockey game to go watch), but it looks like it mirrored the first 30....

That okay.....what a great start! GO AVS!

Erik Johnson was assessed a 10-minute misconduct at the end of the second period for handing his broken stick to a fan in the stands....really...

Mike, I watched the game and didn't see any Sharks protesting...maybe I missed that?

The helmet rip was crazy, back in the 80's the Jets would have gone into the stands and beat that guy to a pulp.

Oilers signed goaltender Ilya "Universe" Bryzgalov to a 1 year deal.

Yeah, that's the answer.

Oilers shut out for their 3rd consecutive home game, first time in franchise history, Hall, Nugent-Hopkins, Eberle, Gagner, Yakupov, and they can't score in 3 games. Derrek must be pulling his hair out.

After watching Backstrom, Granlund and Pominville take shots to the head from numerous Leafs, they are now up in my top two dirtiest teams in the league. Thank god we beat them tonight or I would have been really pissed.

Hawks win another shootout, and (re)pick up Kris Versteeg. Hoping coming back to Chicago will bring him back to his 2010 form.
