Re: Cigars in Cinema
I agree, such a short scene though, and its a little 'cheroot' style, just not what sticks out in your/my mind when you think about that movie. But it's a great one And appropriate it is added today.

Re: Cigars in Cinema
Witness for the Prosecution (1957) Charles Laughton as the aging English lawyer who returns home after recovering from a heart attack accompanied by his overly protective nurse. The films interplay with his fondness for cigars, how he smokes them, mooches them, caught with 3 cigars hidden in his cane, and even a bet on a 'small box" of them should bring a smile to any BOTL face.
In glorious black & white and with an incredible cast it's a hoot to watch as Laugnton smokes a cigar as he ponders taking a case while all of the time his nurse is locked outside his study. |

Serendipty (2001), starring John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale...they walk in front of the a museum and there was guys sitting on the steps enjoying cigars.
The King's Speech (2010) Colin Firth and Helena Bonham Carter....Winston Churchill always had a cigar in hand.

Re: Cigars in Cinema
Yeah, we list the movie (year of release) stars. Doesn't have to be the star smoking the cigar, just that the movie had cigar smoking in it.
