Great game.A little hairy at the end but Miller and the boys were outstanding.

How bad is Hockey Canada griping right now.

Miller was a big factor in that win. Broduer had some blunders. So proud of the US National team they pulled of an epic win. I disagree with the comparisons to the 80 miracle team, but it was a great win.

Congrats on the win!

US boys came to play, and had the hockey gods on their side tonight.

We'll just have to take the long road now.

I think Canada will be even yougher when they meet the U.S. again in the Gold Medal game.

Great game, Miller and Rafalski were awesome.

Brian Rafalski has 4 goals in the Olympics with only 5 for the Wings. He better bring this scoring back with him after the break!

Great USA win, unfortunately now we'll see either Canada or Russia out of the Olympics after the Quarters

That does seem a drawback of the tournament...but on the other hand, the USA can't face Canada or Russia until a potential Gold Medal game, which is a good thing. Now we just have to contend with the Swedes, Fins, Czechs or Slovaks.

got to twist that bersmoochi knife a little huh.

As to the potential gold medal game it will be interesting to see how Canada responds and if they go to Luongo now. That said given that Canada barely and I mean barely escaped the Swiss, and lost to the US. I have serious concearns as to their ability to beat the Russians. You have a Canadian team with 17 first round picks with a nations pressure on their shoulders. This is the greatest team Canada has ever assembled by most accounts and they almost lost one and lost one in a three game set. They are going to be gripping those sticks very hard. Now they have to win 4 games in 6 days. They know if they lose they will have let down their entire country. The Russians are playing very strong also. I think their is a greater potential for a Russia US rematch.

Listening to Grapes on the Jim Rome show right now. I love Grapes, but his lack of respect for Russians and Europeans is frustrating to say the least. Atleast he is honest in saying if they dont win the Gold it will be national disaster.

Russia has a LOT of firepower, so if Nabokov plays well, Canada has good reason to be anxious.
