Yea watched a bit of the MCF and have been reading a lot on MacKinnon. I just wonder if the Avs can take another C, when they have 3.....

They have a HUGE need for a #1 blue liner.... Maybe, if Jones can be that guy....he'd take pressure off Johnson and he could flurish.... If wishes were fishes....

Duchene is going nowhere, I think Stastny is gone at the end of the year and O'Reilly has value, but cannot be moved until the end of February.... Maybe try to trade him then, but if that didn't work and there already seeming to be bad blood there....UGH. That is not to say that MacKinnon cannot just move to the wing, thoughts are he is NHL ready now & has played there.

If the Avs don't get some D in front of Varlamov, they are never going to win....I don't care how many scorers they have....

They could take MacKinnon at #1, move him to the wing and hope to pick up some blue line help later..... Or Jones at #1 and hope he turns out to be what everyone thought Erik Johnson would be.....

Draft Glaring Need > Draft Potential

I am glad my job is not riding on this decision.....

Bought a ticket for Game 7 right after Bickell scored to make it 3-2.

Be my first Game 7 since 1990, when the Hawks played 2 of them (I was at both) iin the old Chicago Stadium....Super pumped!

Though I will be rooting for the Sharks tomorrow, it is interesting to note that if the Kings win, the 5 remaining teams will be the last 5 Stanley Cup winners....

2008 - Red Wings
2009 - Penguins
2010 - Blackhawks
2011 - Bruins
2012 - Kings

Derrek, I wish you were going to be with me....in a seat.

I will be in the 2nd row of the top bowl, so you never know. I wore my green Toews jersey for Game 5. So, of course, I wore it for Game 6. So, of course, I will be wearing it at Game 7.

Nice win last night Tom. Got home from LA just in time to catch the 3rd period.

Damn near got in a fight while in LA watching game 6 at a restaurant during the boys team dinner.

Well that sucked.

10th different team to take out the sharks in 12yrs or something like that, really sucks, Joe T. has always been one of my fav players from way back in his Bruins days.

I'm bummed, Mike, I was hoping the Sharks would pull it off.

Here's hoping that your 2nd favorite team gets to take out the Kings.

Nice season for the Sharks from what the early season looked like.

No team will ever win with Joe Thornton!!
He was run out of Boston on a rail, he got no heart.

Trust me Tom this house is fully behind the blackhawks tonight. Son wore some of his hawks gear to school today. Hat was Gongshow though.

Going to miss most of the game though. Kids have judo class.

Well atleast I dont have to hear fire the coach today on local media. I think that torres suspension really hurt in the end with the other injuries.
The talk instead is blow it all up and rebuild, which is not going to happen. They got a lot of draft picks at the deadline. The problem continues to be the need for a couple of heart and soul guys.

With L.A.'s line-up, Torres might have made a difference, as much as I hate to admit it, Mike.

Off to the U.C. shortly, hopefully be smiling BIG the next time I am in the Asylum!

I REALLY hope that was sarcasm. If you are trying to posture the Sinden excuse which was basically to blame Joe for every one of the Bruins problems then... nah you couldn't be doing that. The same excuse Sinden used for running other great players out of town when he didn't want to pay them or needed a reason why the teams he built lost in the playoffs.

As someone that's been following the Bruins for 40 or so years I'm shocked there is anyone around that would buy that bs.

Hope you have a special ceegar lined up for after the game Tom, good luck. Hey you realize that we were talking about bets and it boiled down to only if the Hawks faced the Bruins ... well damn that's getting close. *knocks on wood*
