Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
Hudson Baby from NY; best bourbon I've had in some time. My favorite has always been Booker's, but this may actually be better. And their rye is even better; not even a hint of a bite, just pure enjoyment.

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
I had the Hudson baby bourbon and rye as well, I agree with Joe the Rye was definitely better. I really want to grab a bottle of Woodford Reserve, had some while out with some buddies a couple weeks ago, really great stuff.

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
Just picked up the Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. I will probably crack it open this weekend. I really enjoy the regular Woodford, so I have been looking forward to this one.

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
Picked up some Knob and Woodford yesterday at the duty free... $26 for 1L of Knob and $36 for the Woodford. Drinking a Knob and ginger right now. I found this stuff Island ginger beer in Canada and it is fantastic in a B&G...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
I've been a fan of three of the five Woodford Reserve Master's Collection. I never saw 2011's offerings, which I now find out were not bourbon's at all, but were two different Rye whiskeys. I'll have to check around for them next time I'm in Georgia or Tennessee (Alabama's ABC board does not have them on their "allow" list, so they never make it to us cheap, Jack D swilling rednecks!

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
Scored two (three, actually) that I've been looking for. These came into McScrooged in Knoxville today. Glad I was in town to grab one of each.
The Woodford Reserve Double Oak and the two-bottle Woodford Master's Collection from 2011; two different Rye whiskeys in one package.

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
Damn Cliff, Nice score
I saw those ryes a few months back, was tempting but I didn't have any reviews or feedback on them at the time. Let me know what you think on both of those, the Double Oak is on the buylist for sure.
