Mike, I couldnt have said it better myself. There were 2 guys beating Burns and Quick had him in a headlock....No Call. Then Shepard (I believe) shoves a guy a couple of times after falling on Niemi and gets called. Very poor officiating. Totally obvious that Vlasic's puck hit a king before going over the glass. That was a very King Friendly game from the boys in stripes.
Regardless, the Sharks looked good. They just need to keep it up for all 3 periods.

GO REDWINGS!!! If you can win one at their place, you can surely take two in your house

It was a hell of a game to watch...very gut wrenching sitting through almost 2 OTs as well! Would have loved to be up 3-0

If you think me rooting for the Sens, or you rooting for the Wings, has anything to do with the price of tea in China, so be it.

Hawks control their destiny. They can play with the heart they played with all season to set records, or they can play like they playerd on Saturday. It's all on them, even with Cole rooting for Detroit.

Well the more I have seen the more I think Ovi may have had a point.
Games 2 and 3 of Sharks Kings were decided by refs and I think last nights game was highly influenced by refs. The disallowed goal was crap and changed the momentum.

Then we have the Torres suspension. Which is a steaming pile of bs. For voicing facts about the suspension Wilson was fined $100k.

I just see too many strange things in this strike shortened season.

I agree the disallowed goal was a bad call that did change the game but, so was the non-call (when Franzen was boarded) that led to the Hawks first goal. Pasting a guy in the numbers sending him face first into the glass has been consistently called for the past 4+ years in both the regular season and playoffs. Given the league's recent overwhelming concern for preventing head injuries I was stunned they didn't make that call.

It has been a heck of a series. Glad to see my Wings up 2-1 but if they can't win again on Thursday, it's a best of 3 with 2 of them in Chicago.

A lot of the local talk is how this post-season the Wings are a low seed, jammed with rookies/young talent, with few expectations coming in, and have no pressure. In the past as a high seed they would often carry play, outshoot an opponent 50-20, yet struggle to scratch out goals & wins against young teams with a good goalies.

It's been fun to watch and I really look forward to seeing some of the youngsters progress. Nyquist, Brunner, Anderson, DeKeyser, Smith, Erickson, and others are all very young and getting better every game. That said, they are also still prone to mistakes you don't expect from your vets.

Wings youth definitely playing fast and loose. Kind of that house money feeling I guess. I hope the Hawks find their sack and fast. If my two teams get elliminated this early it will suck.

As horrid as the refing was in 2 and 3 of S&K series I thought game 4 they did a decent job of not controling the outcome. Wont get to watch game 5 though as got to get up in the middle of the night to drive kid to socal for 2 hockey tournaments.

If you thought that officiating was bad you should have seen the B's rags game.
Three bruins cut wide open with sticks and no calls?

It was something watching Bergeron being stitched up on the bench and not missing a shift.

The Rangers have not had a penalty called on them in a few games.
I expect more of the same tonight?

Looks like MSG has turned into the Montreal Forum.

They showed some serious dominance Last night.
But let's put the nail in the coffin and don't let them get any hope.
