in the playoffs especially in the west...something to think about is travel.

if the hawks win(heres hoping)...it will be in no small part because of 1)minni 2)Detroit.

the best travel schedule a western team could hope for.

Absolutely, Derrek....and the Western Finals will involve a lot more travel, which could factor in for the Finals.

While I am no Torres supporter this is charging and likely a suspension. While Kronwall continues to line people up often leaving his feet and its not charging. The NHLs wheel of justice is a joke.

I saw the hit live (on TV, I mean), I am no fan of Torres, but I don't think it warrants a suspension. It's a shame Stoll is hurt, but I don't think it was a dirty hit. I think Raffi's past hisrory will bite him big time though.

While the NHL might see this as just, if they were gonna suspend Torres, it should have been for a specific number of games.

Sutter is saying that Stoll is a bigger loss for LA than Torres is for San Jose, but based on what I have seen this posts season, I'd call it pretty even.

Nice win by the B's.

Bullsh!t call on the Sharks (delay of game when the puck actualy hit Carter on the way out) led to a 2 man advantage for the Kings, late in the game and down by a goal. 2 goals in 22 seconds, and the Kings have a 2-0 series lead. I look for the Sharks to come back strong in Game 3.

Yeah gotta agree all the way around there.

Going to be tough to dig out from 2-0 but they have home ice the next two which certainly cant hurt.

Also got to love burns crashes the net gets beat by 3 kings no call. Same play at sharks net and a penalty but only one shark protects his goalie. Just before the call that lead to 5 on 4 Coture got raped on the boards. Then Sharks get called? 3 penalties in the 3rd when the kings were down by 1. No calls the other way no matter what they did. and they more then earned a call. Maybe Ovi was right aabout major market teams in a strike shortened season.

Sharks are in big trouble and I think they are done.

Mike, now change it to "until they lose a 4th game on the road they are in this series".

I will be rooting for the Sharks Tuesday, hope you are rooting for the Blackhawks Monday and Wednesday.
