The USPS delivered a couple of "ordered" BDay presents this morning. 8oz of MATCH Walnut and 4oz H&H Freight Train:

An estate meerschaum won on *Bay from Pipestuds offering. Bowl HT 2 1/2" x L 6 1/4":

Need to get it cleaned up, sanitized, and then we'll move forwards and re-break it in...

To those of you that have acquired the illusive Penzance....it would be most appreciated if you would please PM me as to where you guys are finding this stuff. I've been trying to track it down for almost 2 years to try it out with no luck.

I echo the same for Stonehaven. I picked one bag as a gift for someone else two years ago after I had a small separate sample, but haven't found one since. Heck, if someone found a bag locally, I'd be willing to buy it from them plus shipping.

Rich has a bag of Stonehaven at 4noggins in the consignment tins area. Premium price and then some!

Cup O Joes has had from time to time and Cigar-Cigar was our most recent source.

When it's available someone usually posts something on the forum, but it sells out awful quick.

Indeed. It's good but not $130 good. But, to each there own.

SP box arriving today, 4oz SotE, 2 tins FMC, 2oz LBF, and another MM Mizzou cob. I'll have to do a side by side pic of the new cob and it's 2 year old sibling.

$130? Ouch! At $50 for an 8oz bag I balked, but bit because I haven't seen it in so long.

Last time I bought it, I got it for $22 for the 8 oz bag about 14 years ago. Last time I saw an 8oz bag available, it was for $26. I did not pull the trigger because I really didn't have the disposable cash to do it - now I wish I did. Oh well, considering I still have some that is 14 years old, and only pull it out for a special treat, I am sure this will last a while. In fact, I am guessing it will not get opened for some 10 years at least.
