Yeah, I love a good deal of what Tatuaje has to offer. But for some reason I didn't like these. To me they tasted of chalk. The inhale was pleasant but the exhale left a very chalk like taste.

I think they are talking about the new ones, not the old lanceros. Those are damn good. Haven't had the new ones yet.

I am talking about all of them. From the original release to the recent ones. Fresh, aged, and new release. IME, all have had a chalky aftertaste to them.

The '09 was one of my favorite NCs of the year and by far my favorite Tat of all time. I bought a '03 hoping for the same result and was really disappointed. It tasted just like a regular Tat brown without any sharpness to the flavor. Dull and sweet would be a perfect description.

Didn't like the one I had either. And I'm a huge Tat whore

I missed this one on my list. I chucked the 09 about 2/3's into it. Maybe I'll try one again if it's given to me.

Liga Privada and Tatuaje were boring for me.
Major hype but they just do not do it for me.

Illusione CG4
With all they hype, I wasted a good $8 that I know I could have bought 2 less expensive sticks and had 3times the flavor.

It was the '03 JJG. I've found that cigars are a lot like wine in many ways. For example, I can have a wine one time and it can taste completely different the next time. It depends on so many factors.

I too was underwhelmed at the Liga Privada no.9 especially given it’s pricetag!

Was a good smoke, just not a good 12 dollar smoke.

Hated the Liga Privada #9 and a Dunhill signed range tubo. I didn't even bother to finish either one.

I am surprised a few of you disliked the Liga Privada #9 so much.
This is one of my Top 5 favorite smokes!
It does suck that they cost as much as they do!

So far, most isoms that I've had have been overpriced, in my opinion. Though I'll admit I've still not had very many. A number of BOTLs have gifted/traded me some in recent months, though, so I think 2010 will be full of further research

I agree--I love the LP#9. It's one of my Top Ten for 2009. Though I too wish they went on special occasionally.

They were ok but do not demand the price paid IMO.
