I smoked an inch of one once...It was worse than Soriano in the '08 playoffs!

Handmade with Dominican long-fillers and a chestnut-brown, oily Sumatra wrapper, Cremosa Cubana offers a medium-bodied flavor with a slow and even burn.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Sounds like you need to give him 2 to 1 odds. 10 Gurkhas vs. 5 Esplendidos ought to do it.
Just like the Buckeyes are his team but he wants odds on everything

Re: Red's Fans Check in
After much complaining. Just bet your team, you are betting they will win the NL, at this point you look to be pretty right about it. How about a sliding scale? 5 for 5 in the Playoffs, 10 for 5 to win the pennant and 15 for 5 to win it all.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
At least we're still at .500. The last time we won three straight to begin a road trip was 1990. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. At least we knocked the Brewers down some in the Central. We'll move up soon. St. Louis and the Cubbies look good, but we can pass Pittsburgh with ease.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Another great showing by the pitching staff, particularly middle relief. A one run game until the relievers come in and start giving up runs. This will be the downfall of this team I believe

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Burton and Lincoln suck. If Rhodes had come in we may have kept this game from running away from us. This team has spirit though. How many times have we seen in previous years the team as a whole give up on a three run ball game. We came back and tied this game up once, but Burton screwed us over in the sixth. Owings didn't look that great, but he got passed over in the rotation previously. It's been 10+ days since he's seen action and it showed. Still, he didn't look any worse than Arroyo. Starting pitchers need to get it together (except for Harang who looks great already). Relievers need to get it together (except for Rhodes and surprisingly Weathers). Bruce made a great catch tonight, but he needs to sit the bench for a few games as punishment for his sorry offense. Where's the Bruce who came in mid-season last year and rocked the ball? Props to A-Gon who got his first hit of the season, but he's still not off the hook. The left field platoon is looking pretty good so far, although I was very skeptical of this at the start of the season.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
And it sucks knowing that Kepp is hitting .557 for Houston after we get rid of him. I'd take him any day over A-Gon.

Unfortunately, I see this being the Cubs' biggest problem this coming season as well.
