Re: What tea are you Drinking?
At the moment a generic China Lapsang Souchong brought from a small whole seller. A bit blunt and I can't help the feeling it's partly artificially flavoured as the smoke profile has a slight cardboardy edge to it.
Having said that, with a splash of milk it's perfectly do-able... Cheers! Michel |

Re: What tea are you Drinking?
ow.. forgot..
A nice cup of Earl Grey. Supplied by the Dutch coffee and Tea broker 'Simon Lévelt'. One of my favorites, completely certified as 'Organic' - which is more about the bergamot oil used. Subtle and quite intense. Cheers! Michel |

Re: What tea are you Drinking?
I just had a delicious cup of Adagio's Ceylon Sonata, but last night I had a SUBLIME glass of the Teavanna Eastern Beauty Oolong (way too pricey, but amazing... $18.50/2oz, which is $148/lb, for which I could buy High-grade Japanese Wagyu Beef for less).

Darjeeling, 1st flushing. More oolong than black. Mild and smooth. It has presence though. Broken Orange Pekoe by the looks of it. 1/2 way through the cup, getting a bit astringent. Good stuff. $5.50/oz @ Java's in Rochester.

PG Tips, England's #1 tea; comes in pyramid bags; a Kenya, Assam and Ceylon blend. You can get this at one of the well-known "large accumulations" stores for about $3... it's delightful. Also they have several varieties of St. Dalfour's which are all great teas, I've tried the Classic English Breakfast and the Earl Gray.

I've been drinking Lipton Red Label, and it is actually pretty good. I can only find it at an international grocery store and all the writing is in Arabic or something.....except the part that says lipton lol.

Cammomille Tea with real honey. Taste's so good Not a big tea drinker, but I do like some plain old tea's. Whenever I go to this Chinese restaurant in China Town, I always finish two pots of tea. Plain old good herbal tea.

Re: What tea are you Drinking?
'08 Taiwan Wuyi from Floating Leaves tonight... Interesting to see how this oolong has changed in the time I've had it (sealed in an airtight jar). The sweet fruit flavors are still there, but are now balanced up front with a slightly vegetal component. Different, but in a good way.

Had my first loose leaf tea today. Went to a tea house about a block away from campus and drank Lapsang souchong. Let me tell you, it was awesome. I can't wait to slide down this slope!!
