The PBR of Coffee for me: Dunkin Donuts. $6 a pound for whole bean fresh from the roasters aint a bad deal in my book and I just don't want to move into roasting my own.

Oh how two years can change things. My crappy grinder and drip machine are replaced by quality gear, and DD coffee is now 8-9 dollars a pound. Now that's ridiculous enough I started going to the available roasters. Everyone of them around here runs 11-12 dollars a pound and it is SOOOO much better. Right this moment we are on our second bag of House of Coffee Beans' Charlies' Blend. All of their coffees are great and great local business. Highly recommend to order some folks. http://www.houseofcoffeebeans.com/index.html

Another triple-espresso this morning of Trader Joe' House Blend

Nice web page for this coffee roaster in the Houston area Jason. Looks like they have a great selection of blends and espresso roasts. Your lucky man and Serious Cigars is close by too

Re: COFFEE: What are you drinking?
I've been working through a 5 pound bag of SM Liquid Amber espresso blend and roasting it light Vienna, which is darker than I normally roast, but seems best for this blend.

Today it is Brazilian that Wanger Bombed me with. Roasted just past the first crack in a drip machine. It had 2 days rest, I am impressed. Tomorrow Press and I make it.

Re: COFFEE: What are you drinking?
I like the bold Starbucks blends. Right now I am drinking their Espresso blend. I also like their Sumatra and French Roast. I know I'm not a connoisseur, but I drink what I like.
